A new group of templates for Niche stores offers an effortless way to stand out from the crowd, and help encourage customers to stay at your store and buy.
Niche stores can be a great way to make money on the Internet. Thousands of small businesses have discovered that BANS (Build a Niche Store Script) is an inexpensive way to introduce their products to new customers and begin to generate a cash flow.
The problem, as even inexperienced users know, is that the Build a Niche Store script gives you only nine pre-made templates within the administrator. There are thousands of BANS, and nearly all of them use one of those nine pre-made templates. Each store looks very similar, and merchants have a difficult time differentiating themselves from the masses.
Perception is everything when it comes to sales, and if my store has the same layout, color scheme and set up as every other store, it looks to my potential customers as if I have the same, dull products as they find at every other store. I need to have a site that makes my store look atypical and unconventional so customers pause, look further, and take time to discover what I have to offer.
That’s where the product, “Build a Niche Store Premium Templates” can step in and help out. By altering the code on the Ebay template, Ian Fernando’s product provides up to nine different templates for a BANS stores and up to 18 different themes for a BANS website.
Most storeowners aren’t computer experts, and have no interest in or knowledge of code and programming. Still, we want to give customers a reason to stop at our site and see the unique products we are selling. For those of use who fit this description, these Premium Templates provide an answer.
Using the templates is a breeze, and I found it an easy process to install them. Anyone who runs an Internet retail site has enough point and click, download and upload knowledge to quickly get them up and running. It only takes three simple steps:
- choosing and downloading the theme,
- uploading it to your websites theme directory,
- then choosing it to be your Template.
From there, it’s the same straightforward process to create your store and display your products as you’re already used to – your store just looks a whole lot better.
The point to this process is, of course, increasing the number of potential customers who actually become buyers on your site. These colorful and different layouts do drive more traffic to the store, and that’s going to mean more cash in pocket.
The best selling point to me is the 100 per cent satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy with the templates within thirty days, you can get a refund of your money, no questions asked, no debates or justifications, no problems. That’s the kind of business I like to be, and that’s the kind of business I want to do business with.
It’s getting harder and harder to stand out in the BANS business. These Premium Templates are simple and effective way to get that unique look that will show customers that your store is something different, and something that they’ll like.

Niche Market Idea-Camouflage BDU Pants
October 4, 2008 by Jerry
Finding niche market ideas can be tough to do, especially if you’re like me and have no clue where to look. Well, I’ve seen the light and am here to tell you that niche markets are everywhere!
Look at this pair of ACU Army pants I had packed in the garage. Well I took them out of the box, listed them on ebay and they sold for about $40 bucks. Well big deal right? Right, it is a bigh deal!
I crunched some numbers and found a little niche market you could profit from. Here are the goods! The numbers were calculated on Oct. 2nd 2008.
KEYWORDS;
“army pants”
- 9,900 Searches per month
- 62,600 Competing websites
“camouflage bdu pants”
- 2,400 Searches per month
- 6,150 Competing websites
“ACU pants”
- 590 Searches per month
- 12,000 Competing websites
One good way to profit from these keywords is to start a blog using the PHPBAY Pro plugin and pull items from ebay using these keywords. The blog could include posts about the proper wear and washing of the army pants. Try to have the blog revolve around the army uniform. You’ll be better off in the long run with the search engines.
What do you think? ![]()

Phpbay Pro vs. BANS (Build a Niche Store)

Do you want to make money on the internet, and as soon as possible? Setting up an internet store is a proven way to monetize web traffic. However, becoming a web merchant can be a long process and requires a large investment in money and space for resale goods. So how do web merchants bring in the big bucks without breaking the bank? They set up an eBay niche store.
There are two major eBay niche store programs out there: Phpbay Pro and BANS, which stands for ‘Build a Niche Store‘. They have several key elements in common. Both allow you to build a store on your website using eBay products that are sold by other vendors. This offers quick and easy money, sometimes taking just minutes. Both use the keywords and phrases on your website to determine what products will sell best to your audience. Both stores can enhance your search engine rankings by adding relevant and valuable key words to your website. However, there are a few key differences.
Phpbay Pro is unique because it is also a wordpress plug-in. Wordpress is a very Google friendly format, so this can mean being higher up on a search engine results page. Also, Phpbay Pro masks the links, so they come up on Google as fresh content, which again can increase a search engine ranking. Users report that the customer support at Phpbay Pro is nothing short of amazing, which can be a huge bonus if you are new to the niche store concept.
BANS has an excellent range of templates, which allow users to customize the look of their niche store. Another benefit is that they are easy to install. However, BANS does not have the same wordpress options as Phpbay Pro, and therefore will not reap the same harvest of web traffic for your website. BANS also is generally considered buggy, with quite a few annoying and malproductive quirks. Although BANS offers an attractive addition to your website, they will bring a few headaches along for the ride.
If you’re afraid putting this kind of money-maker on your site will compromise your site’s integrity, think again. Phpbay Pro and BANS both allow users to choose their vendors and categories, which can prevent inappropriate items from getting onto a website. They also both use keyword driven listings that are guaranteed to be a good fit with your website. Whichever you choose, there is no reason to let your website go another day without adding this easy and lucrative money making feature.

August 2008 Affiliate Income Frome BANS

I know it’s been a while since my last affiliate income post. Here is a short post to show my earnings for my niche marketing efforts in august 2008. This income reflects only my three BANS stores that have little to no SEO optimization done to them. All traffic is organic from Google and Yahoo.
I’m showing you this to let you know that it is possible to earn a little extra money every month with a BANS or phpbay store.
Three hundred dollars may not seem like much but, to a newbie like me, it shows that there is hope for a increase in knowledge and income.
Remember, the only thing I have done is establish a website or blog around a specific niche, add very little content, and make sure I use the niche keywords in the header and title of my blog/website. I still have lots of work to do with my websites as far as SEO and gaining backlinks. If you want to see an example of one of my sites then you can check out www.eghilliesuits.com (still needs a lot of work). This site is bringing about $70 a month just sitting on the web.
I’ll be sharing exactly what I do to earn form EPN and affiliate income as I learn on the go. Be sure to check back soon for more tips. ![]()

Micro Niche Finder Tool Switches to Google

Some of you may remember my post review about the Micro Niche Finder Tool. It was basically a post on how I didn’t like Micro Niche Finder because it relied on Wordtracker search results and mixed it with Google’s index. Well all that’s about to change.
I just received a broadcast email from James Jones about the new updates for Micro Niche Finder. At the end of the email James gives some info about Micro Niche Finder switching to Googles search numbers. This is a BIG plus! The numbers are going to play a big role in determining your niche market. Unlike the previous version where you accessed two completely different sources to determine a niche, this version keeps it Google friendly and provides data from one source, and that source is Google.
Here is a screen shot of the email that was sent, click on it to open in a new window.
I’ve already updated my software today and still see that the numbers are off, the update might not have been posted yet. If this tool does update and pulls Google’s search numbers, it will be the best thing since sliced bread. We’ll just have to wait and see. I’ll keep you posted.
