Finding niche market ideas can be tough to do, especially if you’re like me and have no clue where to look. Well, I’ve seen the light and am here to tell you that niche markets are everywhere!

Look at this pair of ACU Army pants I had packed in the garage. Well I took them out of the box, listed them on ebay and they sold for about $40 bucks. Well big deal right? Right, it is a bigh deal!

I crunched some numbers and found a little niche market you could profit from. Here are the goods! The numbers were calculated on Oct. 2nd 2008.

KEYWORDS;

“army pants”

• 9,900 Searches per month
• 62,600 Competing websites

“camouflage bdu pants”

• 2,400 Searches per month
• 6,150 Competing websites

“ACU pants”

• 590 Searches per month
• 12,000 Competing websites

One good way to profit from these keywords is to start a blog using the PHPBAY Pro plugin and pull items from ebay using these keywords. The blog could include posts about the proper wear and washing of the army pants. Try to have the blog revolve around the army uniform. You’ll be better off in the long run with the search engines.

BANS has an excellent range of templates, which allow users to customize the look of their niche store. Another benefit is that they are easy to install.  However, BANS does not have the same wordpress options as Phpbay Pro, and therefore will not reap the same harvest of web traffic for your website. BANS also is generally considered buggy, with quite a few annoying and malproductive quirks. Although BANS offers an attractive addition to your website, they will bring a few headaches along for the ride.

If you’re afraid putting this kind of money-maker on your site will compromise your site’s integrity, think again. Phpbay Pro and BANS both allow users to choose their vendors and categories, which can prevent inappropriate items from getting onto a website. They also both use keyword driven listings that are guaranteed to be a good fit with your website. Whichever you choose, there is no reason to let your website go another day without adding this easy and lucrative money making feature.

August EPN Income

Three hundred dollars may not seem like much but, to a newbie like me, it shows that there is hope for a increase in knowledge and income.

Remember, the only thing I have done is establish a website or blog around a specific niche, add very little content, and make sure I use the niche keywords in the header and title of my blog/website. I still have lots of work to do with my websites as far as SEO and gaining backlinks.  If you want to see an example of one of my sites then you can check out www.eghilliesuits.com (still needs a lot of work). This site is bringing about $70 a month just sitting on the web.

Some of you may remember my post review about the Micro Niche Finder Tool. It was basically a post on how I didn’t like Micro Niche Finder because it relied on Wordtracker search results and mixed it with Google’s index. Well all that’s about to change.

I just received a broadcast email from James Jones about the new updates for Micro Niche Finder. At the end of the email James gives some info about Micro Niche Finder switching to Googles search numbers. This is a BIG plus! The numbers are going to play a big role in determining your niche market. Unlike the previous version where you accessed two completely different sources to determine a niche, this version keeps it Google friendly and provides data from one source, and that source is Google.

I’ve already updated my software today and still see that the numbers are off, the update might not have been posted yet. If this tool does update and pulls Google’s search numbers, it will be the best thing since sliced bread. We’ll just have to wait and see.  I’ll keep you posted.

New niche marketing idea-Used Jet Ski.

I just got back from an awesome weekend in San Diego, CA. My wife and I attended her annual family reunion which is held at Mission Bay. The weather was great, the water temperature was perfect, and the food was excellent.

My wife’s uncle had brought his two jet ski’s for everyone to ride. So, after some grub I jumped on and took one out for a spin. I had a blast! I was jamming at around 60 mph on the water, doing doughnuts, and jumping other boaters wakes. It was a good time. We had so much fun that my brother and I talked about buying one for our family, which sparked the niche market idea for used jet ski’s.

Some of you may remember my previous post about trek bicycles. The post just explains how bicycling is very popular and can be a profitable niche market if you play your cards right.

Well, I’m here to tell you that I’ve found another niche idea from the Trek bicycling market. It deals with Trek bike frames. This is great because each frame costs hundreds of dollars and that’s excellent especially if you are an ebay affiliate.

There are plenty of ways to profit from Trek bike frames. You can;

• Create a review site
• PPC ads
• Article Marketing.

Laser range finders are gaining popularity. The hunting/outdoor industry has been booming by providing high tech gadgets at affordable prices. Gadgets like hand held GPS systems, laser range finders, and digital binoculars. These few items have helped numerous hunters navigate through the woods, range their targets, and even take digital pictures of birds or game.

However, today we will focus on the Bushnell laser range finder. Laser range finders are a little hand held device that you would use to measure an objects distance. I recently did a post about compound bows (http://www.nichefree.com/target-the-outdoor-niche-with-a-compound-bow/) and since the I’ve seen a few more (not too many) BANS sites pop up related to this niche. Which in my opinion is good, it means people see the potential in the niche market ideas I provide.

I also have a compound bow site that I established, and so far, it has generated $125.89 in a little over a month’s time. I know you might be thinking “Well that’s not a lot of money.” But if you were to build 5 sites that generated this sort of income, well, you would earn a nice chunk of change.

That’s the idea. I want to create as many niche sites as I can, then optimize the for the search engines. As you saw, the site generated over $120 and reached 100 visitors in a day, without any promotion what so ever!

Now, you don’t only need to build BANS sites with the keywords/niche ideas I provide. This is just one example of many.

I just wanted to show a little proof that the keywords I provide are excellent for many different marketing techniques.

I was looking through my old Army footlocker and found my hand held gps. I bought it right before I deployed to Iraq. I’ve got to tell you. For a commercial device, it worked wonders.
