The biggest thing is traffic and that's most people's problem. Also monetizing in the right way, getting backlinks from high PR sites is important, how high your pageviews are vs how many people are visiting is also important. Another thing is, there must be some unique content along with the mix of duplicated content. These are just some of the things that I've experienced and had to learn along the way.
