It can be hard to compete with the ESPN’s and other big networks for events like this, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance to profit off it. From brackets to team-specific sites, there’s plenty of longtail options in something as big as this.

If you’re really agile, you could make money off the hottest trends as they come and go – the key is being extremely fast, and be able to switch gears to follow the next big thing. This is where it helps to have a collection of websites and a full-time writer to be able to branch into various niches year round.
